In an effort to keep from getting creatively stagnant as I go through the course of a 9-5 design job, as well as staving off general laziness, I’ve undertaken this personal project.
Every day, rain, shine or somewhere inbetween, I will be making something cool. The results may be photos, design pieces, experimental type, videos, or anything else I feel is worth showing. As a result of a small scheduling error (or possibly an act of some beneficent and all-powerful deity) this weekend’s plans for ziplining (ie my plummeting unknowable distances to a grisly and horrible demise impaled on a live grizzly bear) have been delayed for a day. I shall live it as if it’s my last. Bring on the cheesies and bacon-wrapped BLTs.

So, in a rather foolish lapse of judgement, I somehow managed to be resting my flash just under my eye while I checked to confirm that my lens was indeed focusing when I hit the shutter release. This was the photo it took, and bears a remarkable similarity to the vision in my left eye for the following half hour.
