A little bit about me.
(Don't feel compelled to read it all)
Feel free to take a gander at my work, it's a great way to kill some time.

I'm a guy who just can't stop asking questions about the world around me, and then finding out the answers. Admittedly, a lot of large questions are, as of yet, unanswered. Luckily, there's still a reasonable amount of time left to find out.
I do a variety of things that could be called design. Mostly stuff to let people communicate with each other. I obsess over letters, just can't help it. My preference is print design, especially books, in part because of the wonderful tactility and permanence that a well-executed piece can have.
In addition to doing print work, if asked to make you: a website, a table, a sterling silver necklace with a bezel-set gemstone of some sort, a delicious cherry walnut loaf, or a good recommendation of an Argentinian red, you would likely not be disappointed. If you asked me to paint you something, then the disappointment would likely set in. But I mainly like to keep most of those things to my off-hours.
At the risk of sounding too well-rounded, I also have quite a bit of experience writing in English. I have written a whole lot of artist statements (mine and others), a fair amount of good academic papers, and a speech every now and then. On a more formal note, I've written a variety of press releases, copy for graphic design skills competitions, and will shortly be publishing my first academic journal article. In short, me english be good.
Oh yeah, and my background in the dim reaches of pre-design is in photography, both paid, pro-bono, and just for the fun of it. It's my first love, and an affair I continue to this day. (Just don't tell design or typography, cause they'll get quite jealous.)
