Nic Lehoux travels the world documenting the work of some of the world’s best architects including Renzo Piano and Bjarke Ingels. Metaform has collaborated with Nic since ’97, and after building previously successful websites and printed promotions for him, he asked us to again update his online portfolio. Our team devised a simple interface which would allow the functions of the site to be as transparent as possible. Built using ActionScript and external XML files, the site is very easy to update and Nic has avoided the expense of a Flash-based custom content management system. The site was recently further developed to include blogging and uploading excerpts of Nic's many publications. Very shortly we will be launching a mobile version of the website, optimized for use on iOS 5 platforms and Android tablets, to give Nic's work a whole new platform. One that's just as mobile as he is.
