Mailer and Poster Campaign, Variable Sizes
For my fall semester graduate thesis project, I addressed the topic of government intervention in issues surrounding climate change. This project took the form of a multi-tier awareness campaign intended to remind the public of the influential role of government in regulating these issues. In order to accomplish this, a facade of wide-scale government communication was created.
The campaign was essentially a stunt intended to spook people into questioning their complicity in the government’s failure to act in the public’s interest. The campaign consisted of a mailed print component, a postering campaign, and a supporting website. The ruse relied on the campaign’s strict adherence to the graphic standards of the Government of Canada, while avoiding infringing on any of its trademarks.
